Suzuki for Strings

Suzuki for Strings  - This program is for Violin, Viola, and Cello.

One or two-week program includes semi-private lessons, technique building, master classes, introduction to music reading, movement class, musical games and learning about composers. Suzuki playdown and individual Suzuki performances will be recorded.

Suzuki Program A: For those students in books 1-2
Suzuki Program B: For those students in books 3-4

If your child is in Suzuki Book 5 or above, please submit a playing sample to info@bymp.org. This will help determine if placement in the chamber music program is appropriate.

Registration DEADLINE for Suzuki: FRIDAY, JUNE 26th (2-week or 1st week only) and FRIDAY, JULY 3rd (2nd week only)

 

Chamber Music Camp (recorded playing sample required for placement - new campers only)


Two-week program includes music theory, music history, master classes, semi-private lessons, technique building, chamber music rehearsal and performance. Chamber ensembles will also be combined to form a chamber orchestra and work on orchestra repertoire as well. Performances will be recorded.
